cut u up

I have been working on a couple of paintings my friend asked me to paint for him. Im very proud of them. They are in the whole pop art Andy Warhol style. I am going to be doing another one for another friend of mine that im excited to get started on. I think it will turn out awesome.
The two paintings I did are of some very special pups. Mac and Chuck.

I also cut my daughters hair tonight. She asked me to cut her hair. I think it looks awesome on her. I cut it super short, I tried to use a razor on most of it because her hair is awesome for razor cutting. The razor bothered her though so I had to use shears a lot. I also cut the shit out of my knuckle. Heres some before and after pics. I had to talk to her so she knew that I couldnt make her hair long tomorrow. haha. We then looked at some pictures so she could pic out what she wanted.

Every Time I Die

Last night Nick and i drove to IA City to see Every Time I Die. It was pretty bad ass I must say. They played at the Blue Moose. I liked this place, it was a bar with a little venue area. So we were super close and it was really fun. Everyone has probably seen ETID a billion times but Ive never got the chance to see them.

First we stopped at the Comic shop to pick up a Ghostbusters comic, I saw Jordan Buckely when we walked in. I giggled haha. Im a big pussy and hate bugging people so I didnt say anything to him, I let him get his comic and be on his way. But I did run up to Nick and say "bbbbeeeb is that Jordan?" is a giggly whisper lol.

The first 2 bands I didnt care for much at all. The first one sounded like some wiggers and I wasnt impressed, I was also irritated by all of the people in the middle of a circle throwing theyre arms around like a bunch of monkeys and punching at the ground. That shits annoying.

The band before ETID, was Four Years Strong, I liked them, they reminded me of Set Your Goals. I should of bought a cd while I was there. While they were playing Keith was standing behind us in the doorway talkin to some kid. I also giggled and grinned.

When they finally got on stage I was SUPER stoked. I started out behind a few people, being smashed a shoved against nasty sweaty dudes, I was gettin pissed cuz I was sweating so much my hair was curling and frizzing. I hate curly frizzy hair. But the fact that I was being shoved closer and closer to the stage was making up for my hair anger.

I wish I could of gotten better pictures but I wasnt too concerned with getting pictures, I was more interested in dancing.

Here's Keith. :) This is from when I got shoved right up against the stage. There was some dude like kneeling on the stage right in front of me and i felt bad for shoving against him to hold myself up so I pressed my knees against the edge of the stage to hold myself up and push sweaty dudes crotches off of me. There were a few time I really had to put some energy into pushing back agaisnt like 6 dudes. I probably shouldnt have done this because my knees are fucking killing me today. They sure are bruised. But, once again, I dont mind because I was waaay too stoked on the show.
I had a lot of fun and I cant wait to see them again. Hopefully it will be soon. On the drive home we decided we were going to go out when we got back in town, but then my buzz came back and I was too tired, we just went home and went to bed. Probably the best idea.

I have decided to start selling my art online. I have quit a bit of paintings laying around that I have done and eventually would like to sell. I recently have done 3 paintings and I will make them available to be purchased now. I have a paypal account. I will only accept payment through paypal, or if I know you personally I will accept cash. If you are interested in purchasing these a painting please email me. This first painting is a 11x14. Its painted with acrylic on a hardboard panel. So, its pretty heavy duty, but light. I chose the hardboard panel for the paintings so they would not be damaged in shipment. I will put a top coat on all of the paintings to prevent the paint from being scratched off. It's called Booty #1. It is Brown and Pink.

Booty #2, is Black and Red. Also done on a hardboard panel. This is a 9x12.

Booty #3 is Green, Purple and Yellow. 9x12, hardboard panel.









I have signed and dated all of these paintings in the bottome right hand corner (not pictured) All of them are of MY BOOTY. No one elses.

I will be updating with more paintings as often as I can.

I got my Every Time I Die tickets today!!!! I am soooo excited.

I am also stoked because Against Me is coming to RIBCO may 4th! very excited as well.

I will be shooting a set with a special friend of mine next weekend. also be excited for that. Then be really excited when its up on GGs!

I am very hungry and I cant wait for this food to be done cooking.
Also next week im going to be house sitting for another friend of mine.


I work tomorrow at 10:30am. hmmm, mornings, I am not a morning person AT ALL. I work at a salon called The Hair Guild. Its located on Brady Street in Davenport, IA.
I like this salon. I liked the last salon I worked at too, It was called Kellizio, theyre both 2 very different salons, but both my style... haha, if that makes sense? I really need to get some business cards made up and get some business in there. I will probably post a blog on some hairstyles I do in the future.

Stoney Creek

 Last night Nick Mick and I decided to get a hotel room. Just for the hell of it. It was an expensive room with a whirl pool tub in it. We were going to shoot a set for GG. We went swimming for probably about 30 min, haha. Took a shower. ;) got dressed and went down to Bent River for a mug or 2. Went to Christopher D's after Bent, got some pizza. Went back to the hotel and crashed. Didnt even use the tub that we payed extra for. Didnt shoot a set... Thats ok. It was nice. I enjoy getting out of the apartment. Even for just a night.
 We slept till the last possible min. before we had to check out, went to Village Inn and got some breakfast. I didnt eat much. I got a double bacon double cheese skillet. With a side of pancakes. yup, didnt eat much.
 After eating we came back to the apartment and slept again till about 4:30. I love sleeping. I love sleeping in. Im extreamly tired all of the time. Its probably not a good thing to be tired like I am all the time, one of these days I should probably take some vitamins and see if that helps.
 Im heading to the gym tonight. I was going to the gym for about a month or two. I was doing good. Well I havent been there in a while and I am feeling pretty discusting. I really need to clean up my diet and start eating healthier.
 Tonight I plan on walking on the treadmill for about 30 min. I usually walk at a pace of 3.5 and an incline of 10-15. Then I will do some leg machines and ab machines. I really need to work on getting in shape. I want to apply to be a Lady of Metal. Even though im a Godsgirl. I dont feel confident enough to make the cut.
 I tend to have poor self esteam. Hopefully a couple months at the gym and I will drop the 10 lbs I want to lose and start feeling better about myself.
 I took some pictures tonight to kind of see what im working with, haha, I didnt really like how they turned out, so I know I have some work to do. Heres one of the pictures I did like though.

Arena

Welcome

 Last night was a good night, good hair, good food, good drinks, good people.
I started work at 9am. I did 2 colors. and 4 haircuts. my colors turned out great, i gave a girl a new cut and added some highlights to lighten up her natural blonde and a few golden lowlights underneat to add some more depth and dimension in her hair. It looked great. She went from looking 16 to 19.  I did a "scene" cut on her friend, basically just more layers in the top. I cut up her bangs to swoop across her forehead and added a purple tint to the underneat layer of her bangs, she has black hair, so when she goes out side in the sunlight, you can really see that purple cast and it looks awesome. They were happy. So, in turn, i was happy.
 After work I came home, took an awesome nap. Got up and picked up Nick mick and we went and had some Clints Pizza. Delish.
 We decided to go out and have a few drinks at the Arena in the district. It was a good time. New friends, old friends, a few I havent seen in a long time. Pitchers of PBR and Jager Bombs. The Arena is probably the only bar in the distrtict I really like. The other bars seem to be full of douche bags. Im sure the Arena has their fare share... but at least they have good music.
 I plan to post often. Hopefully I will be getting together with my good friend Gracie and taking some pictures soon. I do ALT modeling for a website called Godsgirls. Hopefully I can expand my modeling to other things. That would be awesome. here are some photos from last night.
